Trump has had bad luck recently with North Korea. Trump said that one week ago would take Kim Jong Un at his word over the death of Otto Lambier. Trump said that Kim Jong Un said he felt badly about it, he knew the case very well, but knew about it later, and he will take him at his word:

He also recently stated that he believed Kim Jong Un at his word for his nuclear program testing:

He had to walk back from that recently, stating that he would be pretty disappointed if Kim Jong Un was starting to test rockets again. John Bolton would not confirm nor deny whether or not they were building up their nuclear testing again. But, it is a smack in the face for Trump, who was hoping for a win after the summit.

Trump, despite having a record long Government shutdown is going to request that Congress issue $8.6 million for the wall.
