Following its successful theatrical run, “Am I Racist?” is set to stream exclusively on DailyWire+ starting October 28. Directed by Justin Folk, this documentary features Matt Walsh as he goes undercover in the world of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). With a humorous lens, the film critiques the work of prominent DEI advocates. Since its theatrical release on September 13, the film has grossed over $12 million and ranked among the top five films nationwide during its opening weekend. It has since become the highest-grossing documentary of the decade.

Am I Racist is DailyWire’s First Theatrical Production
Beyond its box office success, this film marks DailyWire’s first in-house theatrical production. It has ignited discussions around DEI with its sharp critique of anti-racism experts. Robin DiAngelo, author of “White Fragility” and recently accused of plagiarism, condemned the film but has since removed her statement and withdrawn from social media. Other DEI activists featured in the film, like Saira Rao and Kate Slater, have similarly reduced their public presence.
While the film has stirred controversy, including boycotts and independent theater pullouts due to “safety” concerns, it has achieved a “Verified Hot” rating on Rotten Tomatoes with a 97% audience score and an A CinemaScore. Despite being largely ignored by mainstream critics, it has been praised by influential figures like Joe Rogan and a Wall Street Journal opinion writer, who called it a “public service.”
Even some critics on the Left have found merit in the film. Vinson Cunningham of The New Yorker described it as “something a red-pilled Sacha Baron Cohen might make.”
