Raquel Rodriguez Returns, Costs Rhea Ripley The Women’s World Title

Liv Morgan walked out of WWE Bad Blood still the Women’s World Champion, but it wasn’t without a bit of controversy. Her rematch against Rhea Ripley was set up as the ultimate showdown, with Dominik Mysterio—who had interfered at SummerSlam—locked in a shark cage to prevent any more distractions. To make things even more challenging for him, Ripley took the mic before the match started and demanded the cage be raised high into the air, ensuring Mysterio was well out of reach.

The match itself was a back-and-forth brawl. Ripley, as expected, used her physical dominance, while Morgan relied on speed and underhanded tactics to stay in the fight. At one point, Ripley looked like she had the match won after delivering a crushing Riptide outside the ring. However, Mysterio, in true dramatic fashion, had broken the cage open and was left dangling by his ankle in midair. In a bizarre moment caught by the referee’s cam, Ripley told the official she had some unfinished business and, with his permission, grabbed a Kendo stick, striking Mysterio as if he were a piñata.

The chaos didn’t stop there. Just when it seemed like Ripley was in control, Raquel Rodriguez made her return, attacking Ripley and causing the referee to call for a disqualification. The abrupt ending left the crowd buzzing, as Morgan retained her title amidst the mayhem, celebrating with both Mysterio and Raquel Rodriguez after 15 minutes of intense action.
